As all independent developers are aware, being an indie in a gaming ocean full of ravenous leviathans is no easy task. In order to survive in a rapidly evolving market, developers need to excel in several areas like digital publishing, PR and marketing - not just the traditional indie game development battleground.
With game budgets soaring into the tens of millions of dollars, the traditional independent developer is no longer capable of financing the entire production pipeline on their own. And if they wish to retain the IP, a traditional development contract with a major publisher is also not an option.
To ensure success in this challenging environment, we have partnered with a select few like-minded independent developers around the world. Using our combined resources, we are confident of consistently delivering AAA quality games.
For all our internal game projects, our publishing strategy is based on two emerging trends – episodic games and digital distribution. Most of our projects are designed right from the outset for episodic delivery via the numerous digital distribution channels becoming available now. We are currently developing episodic games for the PC, Apple Mac, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable.
